On the 22nd of March 2025 FVRSG held our annual Soup Kitchen event. Organised and hosted by Clarissa and Trevor, and with the help of many of the FVRSG supporters, it was a day of great food, excellent company and some wonderful fundraising.
The soups of the day were curried parsnip (mild, but delicious), curry & lentil (a nice spicy kick) and brocolli & stilton (thick and tasty). There was also a fine selection of cheeses, bread and Clemency’s famous cornbread alongside red & white wines and water to drink.
At the end of the meal we took donations and managed to raise an amazing £615 in total.
FVRSG would like to thank everyone who provided help and food for the event, and everyone who attended and made the day such a great success as always.
We would also like to thank Clarissa & Trevor, without whom the event couldn’t happen. Thank you, and we will hopefully see you all again next year!
