We held our usual monthly market stall on March 7th and spoke to many Faversham residents and passers-by about the charity we were raising money for this month; The Separated Child Foundation.
Separated Child provides emotional, social, financial and physical support to separated children and young people in Britain up to the age of 21. Theirs is a vital service for young people who find themselves in frightening situation of being alone in a new country, trying to make a new life without their families and with very little support.
We were incredibly pleased to get such a wonderful response from the market-goers who donated an impressive £255.50.
