On Friday 15th of November FVRSG held our Quiz & Raffle Night at The Guildhall in Faversham. The venue was packed with eager quizzers, ready to battle it out for prizes and points.
FVRSG’s Quizmaster Max took charge of the room and kept a quick pace with tricky questions through a variety of rounds to keep even the most seasoned quizzers deep in thought at possible answers.
Scores were kept by Clemency who dutifully updated the scoreboard with each team’s progress until the final round where the winning team could claim their prize as the nights winners.
During half-time many raffle tickets were sold with the draw taking place after the main event. We were proud to have a wide range of great prizes, some donated by local businesses who wanted to support the charity. Many supporters left the evening with a prize, after an evening of fun and knowledge.
FVRSG would like to thank everyone involved in organising and running the evening. We couldn’t have done it without all of you. We would also like to thank everyone who donated prizes. We had a fabulous selection on the evening which made the raffle a great success.
With donations, quiz and raffle money, and also sales of our FVRSG Christmas cards we raised an amazing £440.20.
As the night was such a success, we hope to do it again next year in a larger venue so more people can take part.
