On Saturday 21st of March FVRSG held our annual Soup Kitchen event in Faversham. Our lovely volunteers provided home-made soups, cheeses, bread, wine and excellent conversation for an afternoon of good food and socialising.
Clarissa and Trevor kindly donated their time, their house and some wonderful curried parsnip soup to the day and ensured that everything went without any issues.
Other delicious vegetarian soups provided by many of our friends and supporters included broccoli and stilton, butternut squash, red lentil and the mysterious magic soup.
Everyone had a fabulous time enjoying the food, drink and company. Overall we raised over £400 in total, an excellent result.
FVRSG would like to thank everyone who helped to make the event such a success, everyone who attended, everyone who donated and particularly Clarissa and Trevor for their amazing hard work.
