The FVRSG Summer Event 2025 took place on the 21st of June at the Abbey Physic Community Garden in Faversham. There was an even larger selection of savouries, cakes, biscuits, soft drinks and Pimm’s (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties) than last year, all provided by our wonderful volunteers.
The event had plenty of helpers on the day to ensure everything ran well with enough people serving food & drinks, collecting plates and cups and washing up ready to serve more visitors.
Children were well catered for with face painting, garden toys and plenty of places to play hide-and-seek.
This year Celia sold her amazing hats and other creations, donating all proceeds to the event. The garden was soon full of happy customers wearing a Celia design while they enjoyed their cooling drinks.
By the end of the day, after lots of food, drink and fun we had raised an amazing £1,050!
We are so pleased with the result and would like to thank everyone who made the day such a success through their hard work, dedication and donations! It wasn’t easy due to the high temperatures on the day so thank you all again from all at FVRSG.
